Late 2018: began development of Wombat
June 2019: public launch of Wombat on Android, followed by our Chrome Extension and iOS app
February 2020: Wombat crosses 300,000 unique active wallets
April 2020: Launch of our first Web3 game “Chain Clash” (decommissioned in 2021)
September 2020: Launch of Womplay, the first hybrid Web2/Web3 game distribution platform worldwide
June 2021: Wombat surpasses 1,000,000 users
December 2021: Launch of Wombat Dungeon Master Season 0, which saw more than 150,000 NFTs be staked
July 2022: Launch of $WOMBAT on Polkastarter, which sold out in less than 2 hours. $WOMBAT listed on KuCoin
December 2022: Wombat surpasses 3,000,000 users
September 2023: Acquired AtomicHub
November 2023: Acquired Wasder
April 2024: Acquired Chainmonsters
May 2024: Spielworks ecosystem surpasses 7,000,000 users
Our next step is to harness the power of AI to offer more immersive, more exciting and more enjoyable gaming experiences that allow players to both utilize and monetize the data they generate in new, novel ways.
